About the WSMP programme:
Aimed at medium and large employers, the ACC Workplace Safety Management Practices programme rewards employers who build safer workplaces. In exchange for putting in place systems and processes that promote injury prevention, the programme gives employers discounts on their standard ACC Workplace Cover levies.
The WSMP programme is specifically aimed at businesses with $10,000 annual ACC premiums and above, but all business may apply.
To gain acceptance to the WSMP programme you must meet the criteria outlined in the WSMP programme brief, available at the ACC website.
Once you've filled in the forms ACC will pay for an onsite audit to be performed by one of it's approved audit providers.
Following a successful audit, businesses will be eligible for a 10% (primary), 15% (secondary) or 20% (tertiary) discount off of their workplace ACC premiums.
